That's sh*ty times, 5000 ft above sea doesn't help but the driving has to have room for improvement.

Around 5500-6k with a feathering technique (no dump). It doesn't matter with your POS tires, though...

Thats what I was launching at but I was just dumping it. I try ti "feather" it next time.
Also I don't know how times I've said it but the track was $hity... Ask aome other ppl that have been there and they'll agree. Everyone tht was there last night said I would get much better time at Bandi.

I launch at just about 5200 or so, was able on the stock clutch to get a best 60 ft of 1.777 and average of about 1.8x. But now my clutch is done LOL, but 20,000 miles isn't bad. I wouldn't say bandimere is that much easier either though. Yeah there are a few expections out there like JustDSM, but most cars aren't that strong. last wednesday EVO's with all your basic bolt on's (cams, tbe, mbc, utec, intake, some intercooler w/piping) were running low 13's. I would say after racing another turbo charged car at sea level and up here that you could knock off an average of 3/4 of a second. You still have plenty of room for improvement.

keep revving inbetween 5-6k dont hold it steady you wont build any boost slip the clutch a little to get the moving out of the hole and the side step it. Dumping the clutch at 5-6 k isnt to good for the drivetrain. The 2 tracks near me differant altidues also theres a differance in times to. The 1 time ive been to the track i couldnt do any better then a 1.8 60ft 4 puck clutch i was sideways off the line every time 12.6 @109

Definely just try getting your 60' times down. Practice that launch! With some bolt-ons no cams, stock clutch. Last year w/ 1.8 60' I ran a 12.8 @ 109 @ Bandi. You'll get there!

I diffently want to go up to Bandi. PMP track just sucked. I watch a couple runs my wife taped and saw that I was bogging a little and the front wheels were spinning into 2nd. So I think once I get new tires, TBE, MBC and run at bandi my time will be a lot better.
