Who has broken a drivetrain part: Spider gears, VC, diff etc and how many launches did you actually do with the car before you broke a driveline part?

There are alot of broke TC's and diff's for sale, so I know people are breaking them, maybe they just are not posting about them.

 

Had over 100 launches at various tracks w/o any broken drivetrain parts. Still had a quaife installed and had tranny rebuilt by RRE. Tranny was on its way out but still ran 11.6 with it on its last leg.

 

That's very good IE EVO...What was your technique and 60' times?

 

Slight Slipping of my Cusco Twin at high Rpms. BTW 100 launches is a conservative number. Not many street launches in that number. Most were at the local tracks. Street launches seemed to induce wheelhop and fried clutches so I stopped that behavior early in my Evo owning career. My front Diff was a good one I guess.
