Drag Suspension Setup

Can we get a discussion for drag racing suspension setups going here? I'm currently trying to find some info, but maybe someone could help me out.

It would be beneficial to use a stiffer spring in the rear, would it not? To facilitate weight transfer to the rear wheels. What do the hardcore EVO drag racers use for suspension setups?

90/10 split on the front shocks, have the front and rear wheels aligned with zero toe.

I have the Tein-Flek coilovers.
For launching purposes, what's best?
Stiff front and rear or soft front and stiff rear?
Or what?

Here is what you need to do but mind you this will affect your EVOs handling greatly.
1. Zero out front and rear toe
2. Reduce negative camber as close to zero as possible.
3. Get stiffer springs to reduce squat on the rear.

How 'bout a thread revival????

Anyone have any insight / new ideas as far as basic suspension setup for weight transfer?

I'm thinking soft in the front and a firmer setting in the back like mentioned above.

I am not interested in changing alignment specs but more interested in tips and tricks for the weekend drag racing warrior.

Might have some info

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=251529

A stall converter on an evo would be nice. I reviewed my log to see I spent a total of 1.5 seconds with foot off throttle in the 1/8 durring shifting

Kinda OT, off context but whocares
