Wow was it just me or where the cars pretty damn slow yesterday. Even the two Turbo Supras couldn't hit any faster than the mid 12s@110-116MPH. The 350Zs and G35s were extremly slow, fastest pass from them I remember was a 14.4@98MPH and then the RSXs which talk so much smack where laughable slow, The fastest one was running high 14s and the others were all 15s and some 16s. Then there were the SRT-4s and damn there were a lot (over 10 I counted) of them, and the fastest I saw was a 13.2@108 or 110MPH. All the rest were 14s and a couple of 15 second passes. Even the EVOs were kind of off, only one I saw hit lower than 12.99 was G20 (12.2@122MPH, highest trap 123MPH). Even the Cobras were having issues, most were running high 12s and 13s, not bad if they were stock, but they almost all had some mods. Two ZO6s, only running 13s@112-115MPH. A supercharged 5.7L 2004 GTO runs a, drum roll please, 12.7@112MPH, WOHOO. WTF, the track must of not been at it's best that night.

With that said, the turbo hatchback Civics were a force, damn them little mutherf*ckers are fast. The white one had the highest trap of the night, 138MPH, and the others weren't so far behind. Then there was that V8 Supercharged 240Z, DAMN!!!!! 10.2@119MPH, he was letting off at the end, I wonder if he just let it rip how quick it would be.

Congrats on that ET and especially that MPH. Was that your best time to date?

As I mentioned before, my Evo was off also on Friday. What were the other Evos running on Saturday? It wasn't that hot either, in fact on Friday evening I had to put on a sweatshirt because it was cooling down quite a bit. It's also interesting to see how many supercharged cars I've been seeing at the track now. They are actually posting some decent times.

Thanks! Yes! It's my best time to date. I tried to get some 1.7 60' last night but couldn't get it, the tires were spinning crady off the line with a 6500 rpm slipping the clutch, the best I did is 1.9 (3 times) and the last time I was going side way almost hit the camaro ss that race with me.

As Smog and some of my friends pointed out to me that I need tires since my front tires are bald before I went to the drag. Well! Not too bad for the stockers, they lasted 2 tracking events and bunch of drag events. I want them again.

Yea g20 was doing pretty good with bald tires. I was hoping to get into the 12's yesterday but was running crap times all day. Best time of the day was 13.4 at 106 with a crap 60ft of 2.2. I think it was probably because of the new clutch. I have to launch a little differently with my new act.

Thanks! The good news is a member just sells me a set of low-mileage stockers for a good price after I was asking for them.

Here I come: 11s on a stock (yeah right!) looking car with just SAFC-II.

Here my receipt:

RNR GT35r kit (included precision intercooler, downpipe, ic piping and hks intake)
HKS 264i/272e
AVO catback
Helix cat-deleted
Fuel pump
780cc injectors
Hallman mbc
Head studs
Exedy twin

For the tune (very simple and conservative but cost effective):

Flash to remove fuel-cut and raise rev limit to 8100 (no fuel scaling or timing adjustment). You can go to Harman Motive for this.

SAFC-II tune by one of the best in So Cal, Tuning Technologies.
1 map for 91 410 whp, other for 110 515 whp.

If you shift ****ty like me your t-case will last.

I was there and only got in one run, I waited 2 hours for my turn and then I had to go. I ran a 12.2 @ 112 against an orange supercharged mustang (13.5 @ 112). I wish I could have gone at least once more, I felt my run was good but I spun the tires more then I like off the line (cold track??).

Next time when you're late just couple up with a fellow evo (or any one you know), who will be run next, to the line and they'll let you run in fair. What color is your evo and which group # that you in?
