I'm on the waiting list for the private track day on the 12th and I'll probably go on the 13th also.

It costs $100.00 to race, but there are no lines! you could race as much as you want. Perfect for dialing in your new mods .

I planned to go there for last two events but always caught up with works since they were on Friday. Maybe next time in September.

 

IE didn't have his car any more. Smog's car is in the process of build up so unlikely. Last month I was there and most cars were slow due to the extreme heat.

 

holy crap. what happen to ie's car?

 

He totaled it last month I believe.

 

The heat is pretty bad. I raced at Palmdale twice this past July and it was in the upper 90's and had the elevation to deal with also.

 

Did anybody go today and how did you do? I went to the private track day yesterday and was the only Evo there. I had to fight with some clutch gremlins. Best I could do was a 13.16 @ 103.60 MPH. I was hoping for some 12's, but fighting with my clutch didn't help. My nephew went today and says that some of track guys admitted that the timers were not recently calibrated, so the times from yesterday and today were off. My car felt so strong yesterday but my times didn't show it. Mabe the timers were off, who knows.

 

Well! I got my best today 12.2 122 mph. I need tires so. Anybody selling their stockers?
