I'm telling you man. Shut the alt retard off on the 2 step and you won't have issues. Yes you won't leave with all that boost but you also won't be breaking expensive stuff.

 

Are you using stock head gasket?

 

yep stock head gasket..... in regards to the two step i don't have it setup at all..... i simply use my flat shift 6800 rpm setup for a launch assist also.

 

You are confusing me. You are leaving the line on a 2 step right? If you have the alt retard function set a hundred RPM or so below 6800rpm (like you said you did), then the car is leaving the line with a lot of boost.

 

but really boost or not i spin forever

 

so it was the front diff i broke....its together again...going to the track .

just changed the copper 7s for the first time since i got the new turbo setup on the car.....WOW what a diffirence...feels a lot better. Should be a good night. Matt from slickmotorsports and Tym from switzer performance might be comming out also...should be fun.

dude buy a 05 rs diff have shep reshim it........ top secret of a pro.......
a friend run 10's all day with that and have never even seen shavings in fluid..... over 30 passes at 10's ....

 

who makes the flat shift and where did you get it?

 

it was at 42... i like to do it the hard way ( norwalk is a way faster track for sure)
