FASTER YET!! 11.2 at 128.3mph on pump and stock motor!

Ok guys....well i went 11.2 at 128.3mph tonight on only 28-29psi.

60ft 1.6299
330ft 4.7958
1/8th ET 7.3409
1/8th mph 96.18
1000 ft ET 9.4488
1/4 ET 11.2328
1/4 MPH 128.24

Best run of the night without too much ignition breaking up (other runs were 12.0 at 96mph (let off cause of the ignition) car was pulling great when it wasn't breaking up. This is still on pump gas with meth injection , stock motor (beside GSC cams and headbolts) , stock throttle body , stock intake manifold, stock transfer case , stock tranny.

Special thanks to : Matt S. owner of Slick Motorsports and Tym S. who tuned my car from Switzer Performance
Slickmotorsports gt35r equal length manifold turbo kit best kit ever!!
Slickmotorsports 3 inch intercooler piping with precision intercooler core (3.5 inch)
Slickmotorsports 3inch downpipe and piping with JUN BL ti muffler from switzer performance (ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MUFFLERS)
Slickmotorsports intake (4 inch pipe with hks filter)
Switzer performance tuned aem ems w/3.5 bar map (most amazing tuning and some of the most professional people i have EVER dealt with!)
880cc injectors
walbro 255 pump
agency power fuel rail setup
exedy triple disc ceramic clutch
GSC 272/264 I/E setup (awesome !)
arp headbolts
agency power short shifter (amazing product) Thanks DAN!!
hallman in-car adjustable boost controller from www.boostcontrollers.com (amazing item for sure)
Buschur racing alky kit (14psi starting and 18psi max)

NOW....onto the bad news....look down and see what it says in my sig.... 10s or bust!! WELL guess what....i busted! I broke my inner passenger side halfshaft (at least thats all it seems to be so far). Lots of oil all over form either the dipstick not being in all the way and popping out or blow by and popping it out and spraying oil EVERYWHERE the whole way to the track when i was doing pulls for tuning of the boost....big smelly mess all over. Then the mess from the boost on the halfshaft...grease everywhere and also the thing binds up REALLY bad if i turn the wheel at all it CRACKS and makes nasty noises.....so thank god that some of the switzer team was there (eric and dean) and i got towed home (thanks so much man!!!!) Will get it fixed and if thats the only problem (knock on wood ) i will get my damn 10 second run and build the motor or maybe just enjoy the power for a bit as the motor doesn't seem to mind it too much....lol.

ONLY other problem is the revs.....since i have 255 40 17s on the car i can't get as much speed per rev as guys with larger rolling 235 45 17s and such. I am bouncing off the limiter at 8500rpms about 100 feet before the end of the track so i need a few more revs but even as stupid /crazy as i am ( you decide) i am scared to go any higher.... is good but i think that trapping 130mph on the setup i am is a little insane

INPUT??!

Dave

Getting closer and closer. Many props have to go out to you and your dedication. I hope you hit 10s and accomplish all your goals. I also hope everything is ok with your car. Don't get discouraged though, it took AL along time to crack the 10s too.

Congrats on the new numbers Dave. Was it a rear or front axle?

You probably should discuss with Tym the addition of a CDI box to eliminate the ignition issue. What plugs are you running and what are the gaps? The EVO is a little different than a DSM but I am running 37PSI with a bigger turbo on a CDI box still using BPR7ES with no ignition issues.

I would bump the rev limiter up to 8800RPM and see what happens. It'll hold.

Good run , got some bad news (maybe).....Sounds like a fr diff is dead , Well when I broke my front diff the CV boot came off, it made "POP" sound when truning the steering wheel and grese was ever where from the CV boot being off . Jack the front up in gear and trun the tires back and forth and see it the tires are in sink with each other . good luck and good job

yeah they are in sink ( i can't turn either wheel independantly of each other) it still drives normal straight just binds when i turn the wheel a bit . The tires don't turn independantly if the front is up and its in gear or in neutral...

thanks..... well you know what they say guys! What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger so i guess if its just the shaft i am going back with a tow vehicle and 8800rpm redline and i will run a 10.8 or 10.9 at 129-130mph i would guess....
