Going to the track for the first time tonight
I got 25k miles on my stock 03 Evo with just dynoflash base flash. What do you gues think, is it a good idea to launch my evo with my stock clutch for the first time ever or is it too much of a risk? Do you guys think my clutch could handle 2 or 3 launches without burnning up my clutch?
There is nothing wrong with launching your car for the first time, just as long as you do it correctly, even if you don't get it right your clutch should hold and if you keep at it, you should get it right eventually. I believe your car with just the base flash is capable of very low 13s and trap speeds of 104-106mph, but you may not achieve such times due to your inexperience. Do not get discourage, remember this is your first time and you will get better.
