Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me about what my HP and 1/4 mile time should be with my mods:

My mods are:

MBC set at 21 psi
Exhaust manifold
O2 housing
Walbro 255
Apexi n1 downpipe
Cat delete
Injen cold air & upper ic
Ams Intercooler & lower pipe
Hks 264/272
Fidanza cam gears set at -2
TurboXS Utec

I did a couple passes at the track on friday and couldn't get any lower that a 14.07 in the 1/4.I think I should be lower than this I was just wondering what other people thought.

 

HP should be about 330-340.
1/4 times should be mid 12's.

 

If tuned correctly, with no mechanical failures like boost leaks you car should be in the 12's.

 

We need all the details of your run to better examine it. 14.07 is not a good time at all for a stock EVO, and definitly isn't a good time for an EVO with mods. You should be running low 12s and trapping higher than 110mph.

 

It's either your driving or your car, I'm not sure if your car has been tuned, if not, then shame on you, and get your car tuned, your probably doing more damage than good. Check out the numbers from this untuned EVO with some silly *** mods-

Still 90% of the time, the culprit is the driver, but like I said we need to see the entire timeslip to better gauge the problem or problems.

 

I know some is driver error this was my first time to the track.I still need to get use to the car.But my time slip states:

I cant figure out where im going wrong.

Your tune is the problem bro, I guarantee it.

Your driving could use improvement but isn't any reason for 14's.

Your 95 mph trap speed indicates around 210whp. Which means you are really low on power.

I would guess that you just have a turbo xs map on there? You need to get it custom tuned.

 

The clutch is still stock.Thats probably the problem the tune I just have the turboxs map on there.I will go friday and get it tuned.Thanks

 

You need that car dyno tuned with a wideband and figure out whats goin on. Those mods should defidently put you in the low 12's @110-112. I Ran a 13.6 @ 100.33 completly stock. Even if the car was tuned right and you were the worst driver around you should have atleast a higher trap speed than that so its gotta be the tune.
