BR 20G track results

I installed the new 20g on my car frinday and wanted to run the nopi event this weekend in west palm beach Flroida so first pass I ran 13.544@103.49 I said wats up car feels slow second pass turned boost up and removed some fuel and ran 13.069@99.35 boost hits a 26psi then falls to 17psi by redline I definetly have a leak or the wastgate acuator is not holding boost. I think this turbo makes good power I just wish I had time to dial it in before the event. How can you tell if your bov is leaking?

Thats one looooooooong sentence you wrote.

This is too vague because you didn't give us enough details.
What octane?
Tuning with wideband?
Why did you remove fuel when you raised the boost? A/F ratio?
Have you done a compression check?

That must be one big leak. Even with only 17 psi you should be trapping better than that. Do a pressure test on the system and check your EMS logs to see what's up. I don't think your BOV could cause this unless it's installed completely wrong.

93 octane a/f was 12.2 then goes to 11.4 by redline

I removed fuel because it is my understanding that the boost compension tabel will add more fuel to scale.

good idea I will check it ..

Do you do all of the tuning yourself on the AEM EMS? You're running slower than a stock 05 currently, so I would imagine it's all in the tuning...

if I do not like the turbo I might take you up on that offer. I was thinking of a gt3071r if the 20g does not work. I am trying to fix the bov tommorrow.

This is a useless thread. I wouldn't even have posted this unless the car was running right.

Man.. your car is running horrible. I think you have more than just a leak issue, you are boosting 26PSI but can even trap 100MPH with all the mods?
