Well, you already know what power you're making, because your sig says so. I make the "good power" comment to people who have never dyno'd or who have never run at the track before. You know your car is making good power. As much power as I'm making when on race gas, jacked up boost, and leaned out S-AFC. I hit 91 in the 1/8th, but I am unable to get the high 1/4-mile mph, because I don't have cams and because of my gearing. If I could pick up just 24mph in the back half, I'd hit 115 , but that's not likely with my setup.

This is what I was doing, I think my biggest problem is knowing when to let the clutch completely out, I still have tendency to bog every now and again. My tire pressure was 39 front and 35 rear. This was to eliminate wheel spin, it worked well IMHO.

You got it backwards. 39f/35r is HIGH, which would INDUCE wheelspin. You eliminate wheel spin by lowering tire pressure. You shouldn't be spinning much anyway. I only get wheelspin when I rev too high and mess up, and that's with 12.0-12.1s at 111-113. I don't think you're making that much power...

If you aren't spinning, then there's no reason to lower the tire pressure. That iwll just make you bog or cause the clutch to slip even worse.

lower tire pressure will also lower your trap speed slightly.

if you are going to lower the pressure make sure the front tires are lower than the rears, the front tires are more likely to spin than the rears.

I will try a few pounds less and see what happens, I just added the LICP as well so that may make a slight difference.

Haha, why do you keep saying you're going to go LOWER on the tire pressure when we keep telling you that you should only do that if you're spinning. You weren't spinning, so you don't need to lower the tire pressure. If and when you spin, then consider lowering the tire pressure a bit.

I try and run my tire pressure as high as possible and go down from there if I start to spin. Track conditions vary but usually I try to start off at 42f/40r. The higher the pressure the better the top end MPH because you will have less of a drag loss from the tire... its not much but every little bit helps.

I am going to leave it alone for now, I am putting cams in this weekend (272's) so we will see if that makes me spin or not. Thanks for the advice.
