And yes, the biggest reason for MOST failures is crappy launches. If you sidestep the clutch, things will break. If you dont actually release the clutch smoothly, thing swill break. And yes, if you are in the 1.5xx 60' chances are something will give sooner or later. I know the stock parts can take 1.6xx all day long with no illeffects if done right.

Exedy tripple cerametallic and all season 40k mile tires here and no problems at all with like over 300 passes. If you don't have enough power to spin clean then just slip the clutch more. Of course I am not quite 10s yet, but next time I hit up a 1/4 mile track I will be as close as you can get without hitting it

yup there always has to be some slip somewhere.....
this way there isnt a severe shock to the drivetrain with instant traction.

the shock causes parts to go
