Finally figured out a few things...
It's gotten pretty cold here lately at night. The elevation is 1250 feet. Track is just south of Phoenix. The current rumor is that this track is a bit slower than the other track here in AZ, but the other one is too far away.
My goal was 110 mph. The 108 I ran was close and I think shifting at a higher RPM would help gain a little more speed. I have 264 cams and the red line is set at 8000. I currently shift into 2nd at 6500. Then into 3rd & 4th at about 7200 - 7500. So, again I ask - would it be better to wind it out to 8000 before shifting?
