Bump for more votes...

BTW, I found a formula that will accuately convert your 1/8 mile times into 1/4 mile times to .1- .15. This is if you continue to drive as well and don't miss a gear.

1/8 mile time divided by .65 = 1/4 mile time. For my 8.0179 1/8 Mile it should be a 12.33 1/4 mile.

I checked this out with many of the time slips posted and it is almost always spot on.

isnt there many variables u must consider after u get through the first 1/8 mile?

for example:

1) wind resistance
2) differences in gearing
3) the time in between shifts

those are the biggest factors I can think of right now, but disregarding it, i guess that formula you found could be accurate..

I agree but, when I checked it with peoples 1/4 mile slips that have the 1/8 mile times on them it was almost always spot on.

I think cams (or the lack thereof) are a huge factor.

Yeah the 264/264 set-up I have are a nice addition up top. They arent as nice as 272's or 280's but I am happy for now.
