Seriously though I am very impressed with the EVO IX, it is putting down some very impressive numbers and it's been very consistent, it makes me a little sad that my eventual purchase will be a 2003 EVO VIII, but hey any EVO is great to me. Still I keep seeing dyno this, and dyno that, while very impressive, just wondering when some modified IX owners plan on backing up these impressive dyno numbers with a trip to the strip? I'd love to see some 112mph+ (pump gas and no cams) trap speeds.

Search What heck are you talking about, that's all I do is search, I know all about the IXs that have ran 12s stock and they're on the 12.99 to 12.00 list.

If you have time, run it stock. I believe it's capable of 12.7s with a decent 1.7x 60' on a GSR or MR. With an RS, you may be able to dip into the 12.6s stock. After that, go buck wild with mods.

yeah I'm having a hard time finding a track that is open in the midwest/east coast it looks like Atco may be open tomorrow but it just snowed pretty good, so I doubt they will be open. I think your right, back in my stock turbo days I was running 12.3s at 108, so if some stock IX's are running 106's, I think a 12.6 is obtainable.
