well if you disconnect the rev limiter, you should be able to hit 1.7 60fts

I'm filling in for Warrtalon because he is out of town - well, not really, I've only been to the strip twice myself, but nonetheless, let me give it a try.

Your 60' and shifting will definatly have to be improved to reach a 12.9x. Your only power mods are the MBC, TBE, and SAFC, so the car is making it's expected power with 105+mph traps.

With a custom tune and cams, 12.9 are possible with equivalent driving, but for the most part, not that bad for your first time.

Actually, a few things here:

1) Just need to learn to launch, and you'll have 12.9s with the same trap speeds. Your shifting isn't terrible, but it can improve. For comparison, I ran 13.17 @ 103.89 with a WORSE 60', so that means I was able to overcome a 2mph deficit and slower 60' just from faster shifting.

2) Your MPH does not reflect your dyno results. Almost exactly like you, my last dyno run was 294whp/269wtq with the same general mods and using an SAFC to tune. With that same tune, I went 12.52@108.5. I later replaced the SAFC with a base flash and went 12.26@110.0. With 298whp, you should be trapping closer to 109mph. 109mph is good enough for 12.4-12.5s.

3) I think with improved launches and improved shifting, you will not only improve your ET, but also your MPH, which will compound the effect on your improved ET.

I'm glad you said this, diiirk. When I responded, I just gave a cold, calculated response, because CubanEvo requested my reply via PMs. I responded as if I was the driver of this car and what _I_ would expect from _my_ driving. The truth of the matter, though, is that there are MANY MANY Evo owners who can't even come close to driving as well as CubanEvo did. I don't want this fact to be lost on you Cuban Evo. You are by no means a poor driver, and for this being your first time, you did exceptionally well. Believe me, even with around 1000 drag passes over 7 years, I _still_ get butterflies at the line, because it's so exciting. There is no way I did this well when I first drag raced and tried to launch my AWD Talon. Hell, I couldn't even hardly figure out how to stage properly...so embarrassing.

So, you started off on the right foot, and now all you have to do is practice. You _WILL_ improve, and you _WILL_ hit 12s with no additional mods.

First time ever at the strip last year, I tried lining up at the staging line with the back of the car.

Not bad for a first time out, but 12s are def around the corner with some better driving. Try disconnecting the "launch control", there is a how to for that on the boards here. It will help you get better 60's.
