Next time I need to get there earlier. I had to connect my kill switch, disconnect my alternator, take crap out of the car, etc.. Then when I was in line to make the first run my launch control switch wasn't working. Of all the crap I took with me to the track I didn't bring a test light. I troubleshooted that for like 10 minutes and gave up. I saw some of the bikes run then a little light bulb came on in my head I took the switch that I use to power the alky and used that for the launch control. So when I am at the line I flip the switch for alky to get the 2 step on. When I drop the clutch I turn the switch off at the same time

My first run I forgot to turn the switch off so I hit the 6k rev limiter mid launch and again in 2nd gear. I ran a 13 flat and still smoked a vette so It was all good. As you can see with all the **** in my mind I forgot about tire preasure hehe.

How do you like the maf transliator? will it turn the boost down if it sees lean conditions. Like can you set it to drop boost based on air/fuel ratio? thanks man sorry for the bad spelling

It has an auto AFR tracking feature that will lean it out or richen it up automatically in an attempt to reach the set a/f ratio.

If you set it to track to 11.5a/f the whole rpm range, if it starts going toward 11.7, the MAFTPro will richen the mixture so it comes back down to 11.5a/f. If it runs down to 11.4 or 11.3, it will automatically lean it out to 11.5a/f.

Hope this helps. You need a wideband output to use this feature.

yeah the maftpro helps out huge with the AFR. I do not have their boost solenoid. Right now I am still using a halman but in the next week I should have their boost solenoid. Works great with alky kits because it will automatically increase your boost once the pump kicks in.

Awsome job man, how is the clutch holding up? Also how is the MAFT Pro doing?

Everything is running perfect. I can't be any happier with my setup. Only thing about the Tilton is that its noisey as hell. I could careless about the noise because I am able to shift flawlessly. If anyone is in slfa and wants to try the clutch send me a pm. I'll be happy to give you ride as long as you come to me.

oh btw i don't think i mentioned it but I was launching at 6500 and just dropping the clutch. I didn't slip it all and I felt zero wheel hop. I am sure if my tires would have gripped a little better and I wasn't such a ***** I could have gotten a great 60'

you're launching way too high!!! you're gonna destroy the transfer case...you need to be launching at 5000-5500 rpm ....

Good job Joey!

I disagree with warrtalon, I think with lower tire pressure (I used 30f - 28r)
and slipping the clutch just a little you'll get in the 11's.
Your 114 mph is good, I have several 11.9's in the 114's.
And your 60's don't have to be in the 1.6's, 1.7's are fine.

I agree with Evoryder, launching at 6500 is not necessary and may have caused
you to spin too much. Try 5800-6000 with just a little slip.
