DOCILE GOES 8.3 @ 177mph

Big ups to the kiwi lads and girls at Speedtech proving that there is more than just the worlds best rugby team the All Blacks that come out of this island nation.

Yes the numbers are right thats 8.30 at 177 mph.

Furthermore the time was run on a poorly prepped strip that is used for scenic flights 70% of the year....

Pic of the beast (tube front end):

Im told that this is only Docile's second outing. Watch out for the Drag Masters event on Jan 7th which is the grand opening of Lake Side International Drag Way in Taupo where Docile will be going head to head with the other big Australian and Kiwi evos.

That car has been my wallpaper for a while now That's an amazing accomplishment, but I'm guessing it's not done yet!

It is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3 with a 2L motor and a HKS T51R turbo making over 1000HP. It is still 4WD. I have seen this thing go and it hauls.

I believe the power is in the 600's AWD HP. The reason the car is so quick is it weighs in at I believe 1800 WITH driver.

600 AWD HP is nowhere close to 177mph trap.

Try 1041HP ATW@2.6 bar (about 38PSI) boost at 9532 RPM. I think it is about 950-1000KG. It runs a PWR liquid to air barrel.
