Buschur/Dynoflash EB EVO IX

Well, went back to the track tonight. The Buschur parts and Al's flash performed as advertised like I knew they would. The car only has the Buschur TBE, filter, MBC, flash, and I put the upper I/C pipe kit on with a 1G. I know warrtalon will flame me, but I like the cleaner look I did forget to put the stiffer spring in the Forge unos which kept me at 18.5/19 psi all night, but the car still performed great.

60' 1.77
1/4 12.54
mph 108

The mph was consisitent all night 108.47/108.49

A few things to note. Al put a flash in for me before the parts were ever in the car. It is the base flash like the ones he puts in the Medina BR cars. He can elaborate if I screwed something up here. My point is, the car runs great with his flash around town and at the track. Many thanks to Buschur and Al. The car weighed 3150 tonight and this was the weather.

71°F
Cloudy

Feels Like: 71°F
Humidity: 88%
Wind: SW at 9 mph

I raced a beautiful 6.0 GTO on that run and they got it on tape. He went 12.8/109. They said they'll send it to me and when they do I'll post it.

Congrats! I can't wait to mod and tune my IX. Just reached 500 miles less than an hour ago.

WOW man congrats.. Looks like everyone who was running in the 13.3's last week have gone down to 12.6's and lowers. Its amazing whats these cars can do with such few mods.

Good job, man. If I recall, I advised you on that situation with the flash before mods thing, right? I'm glad it worked out. Your driving was great, but you know what...put that stiff spring in, turn it up to 21psi, and you will trap 110 - bet on it. 12.4s/12.3s right now with nothing more than the boost turned up to normal (21psi). Excellent work, man.

Oh, and no, I don't flame on the BR UICP w/1g - I don't advise people to get it when they ask me what mods to get, but there's nothing wrong with getting it. I wish I had one when I installed the alky, because I couldn't get the nozzle very close to the TB when using the stock piping with the silicone elbow...

Warrtalon-Thanks. That means alot I wish I brought the other spring with me. I left a little late and completely forgot about it. Oh well, the car is coming along nicely.

Jovani- Good runs from you also. Whats weird is your mph is almost identical to mine. It seems that all the 9's are consistent with each other. Hows your clutch

You will go faster than the rest with your boost up to par. You were below stock boost on those runs and still hauled ***...

Yeah, I'm still kind of pissed I forgot to switch the spring. I don't want to keep going every time I make a small change. I'm not too sure the stock clutch likes what I'm doing to it.

great driving man. only thing i see is that u could still get your 60ft a lil lower. a lil better 60' and boost at 21psi i could definately see a 12.3-12.4 also.

great numbers! You should just put in the right spring and run again. I think it will go 12.1@111

As of right now, you have thrown about $1700 into your car and have achieved about two mph over stock. Here is a guy that is tied with you for less than $500: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=178804
You get no props from me going to the track unprepared and running only slightly better than stock MPH. Your ETs are good though. As amatuers, the only things we can do as good as the pros is to make sure our cars are not unnecessarily handicapped: ie, we take out excess weight, use appropriate fuel, make sure air filters are clean and spark plugs are fresh, make sure the AC is off, windows up, BOVs adjusted properly, etc.

The fact that you reflashed first - modded second and that you didn't show up ready to race tells me you need to get your head into the game. With your mods you should be at 111mph. So get it together and lets see you do it.
