GTKage- Don't be alarmed. Mine ran the same exact mph(103). These things just aren't fast with the Florida humidity. But look at my new numbers with mods-https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/showthread.php?t=179795&page=1&pp=15

Just got to massage them a little Stick with it and buy the basics. Good run...

What is your launch technique, if you don't mind me asking? My first Evo, so I am curious; and to add to that the rev limiter.

I assume rev to 5000rpm then slip clutch? Once you hit rev limit, does it automatically drop it down to lower rpms or does it just stick at 5000k?

Actually if there was a rev limit at 5000k on my subaru wrx (previous car), that would be perfect because 5000rpm was the sweet spot to launch on a WRX.

Thanks in advance for the tips!

this is the way i launch: full throttle bouncing off the 5000rpm limiter, slip the clutch really quickly ( do not dump it or the car will bog) and off i go
If i feel the clutch sliping too much i let of the gas a lil til it catches but i never had to do that with my evo 9 yet

good luck and have fun
