Is 4th gear different in the 06'gsr vs an 05'gsr? My car winds to about 120 in 4th, (05 gsr) with out a raised rev limiter. Very strong runs for such limited mods. NICE

yes, the IX gear ratios were shortened significantly in 1-4. 5th was also shortened some, but it still has to cover everything from 110-160+. Basically, gears 1-4 in the IX 5spd are identical to the 6spd in the MRs.

All the 60' times were 1.7.
Thanks for the compliments everyone and many thanks to David Buschur for making some great parts and of course to Al for the tune

^I'm just wondering, why not go for 11s on pump gas and break records? Am I missing something, is not as simple as running 23psi, I believe the stock IX turbo is capable of 24psi on pump gas before losing it's efficiency. I'm honestly confused, do you have to be re-tuned by Al to run more boost on pump gas? Also I'm not saying run higher levels all the time, just a couple of passes down the strip and the record is yours, but if it's not that simple then I understand.

Was that done with a test pipe, highflow cat or stock cat. Either way 12.0 is Fast.

White white IX-test pipe

3000ways-The car could make an 11 second pass as it sits with the rev limits raised 200rpms over stock. I switched the bov to a Forge and the car seems to pull much harder. Not sure why, maybe my 1g was leaking or something. I only put the 1g on because I wanted to run it the same way as I did initially. Actually curious if it would run faster with the Forge bov in place. as for the other stuff, it is a clutch and basic wear and tear issue for me. The car only has 1900 miles on it and I'm not really ready to change the clutch yet or willing to break something. When the rev limits are bumped up I'm sure I'll go back to the track and see if I can run the 11.8/11.9 I feel the car can manage.

Well, going again tonight and trying for 11's with the rev limit at stock. Bringing both BOV's and see which works best.
