I ran a 13.2 in my Stock 03 with pump gas at 103MPH. I thought IX's were a lot faster?

They are. Your 13.2 is in the top 1% of all 03/04s. His IX is kinda low on the totem pole...

I think all these wacky times are due to the inproper tightening of IC clamps. When I 1st got my VIII, i could NOT make more then 15PSI, and for that I had to slam the car to get it.

Then I took a 10MM wrench and tightened all the hoses and BAM, 20PSI spike and it fell to 16 and the car was ALOT faster.

that 13.2 was best over all my runs, I have hit 13.3's and 13.4's then gave up but alwyas at 103MPH.

well all the 9 in florida are then, coz no one here in FL has run faster than 102-103 stock. stock 05 trape at 100-101, and 03-04 @ 98-99

My friend with an 03 with intake, tbe and reflash couldnt go above 104

warrtalon just bring ur car down here, and i am sure u ll see/feel a difference.
Everyone figure that people in florida would get good time stock due to the fact that we are at almost sea level, but humidity is really bad all year long

Sorry, humidity alone isn't enough to rob that much power. I'm up at 6000', so I don't wanna hear it. I ran a 12.1 in my Evo in 95-degrees and 70% humidity. That's pretty bad conditions. I'm sure yours weren't this bad in February. Maybe in the middle of summer...

Anyway, I've seen plenty of other FL IXs run faster stock than you are with mods. It just seems to be your car or that one track you go to, but it's not all of FL.

must be the track then coz like i said all the 9's i have seen with my own eyes at the track would run 102-103 stock, 05 100-101, 03-04 99-100.

but then again it s at Orlando Speed World AKA Orlando Spin World lol

I did notice with my 05 that in Sarasota the car would run much better up to 2 tenth faster and 1-2 mph faster than Orlando with the exact same mods

i challenged Warrtalon to a a duel in the desert & i assure u he won't show. it is coincidental though how the AZ crowd is having the same trouble with ET's & traps with little to no humidity. maybe in his mind 9 out of 10 evo owners can't drive. of course he's proud of his 12.00 @ 113 (& he should be) even if HIS MPH is low for his ET...

how do we get rid of the 5k launch thing? or raise it... can the vishnu program raise it or remove it? or how do we do that.

best i could get was 1.8 flat with the stock launch control.
with my eclipse gsx i was getting low 1.7's i want to launch higher!! or remove that control but how?

u can get low 1.7 with the 5k limiter if ur car makes the power and if u have good tires, with my 05 EVO 8 and BFG KDW tires i would get consitant low 1.7 60'
the best i got with my IX is 1.795 but that s with the car pulling timing off the line because of my intake and MBC

well now if u want to raise it, most tuner that do reflash for evo can do that
