Opinions please!
Is this a good time for the mods? What should I expect to run in the 1/4 mile? Is my car performing to the mods listed in my signature?
*Edited*BTW I was running 23-24psi...
I ran my friends Porshe Carrera S, I was a little worried because he talked up his car a lot.
Thanks in advance,
-Nate

To answer your 3 questions per your request:
1) No.
2) With a 7.82@84, I'd expect a 12.3
3) In my opinion, no, but until you get to a 1/4-mile track, you won't know for sure. I hit 84mph when I was stock + just an SAFC on 93oct and 21psi, but my ET was only 8.17 on a 1.76 60'. Even if you give me a 1.66 60' on that run, it would have been no better than an 8.0x. You are .2 quicker, but with a low mph. I think that 1/8th-mile tracks are hard to use as a gauge, because the traps can get messed up. I think your real trap would be around 88 on a regular track.
Great driving, obviously, but the mph is very low. You should expect no less than 90mph in the 1/8th with cams and meth at 24psi. You can look at my timeslips to see my mphs, but without cams. Our gearing is different, too, so I shift to 4th way before the 1/8th-mile, which can cause the splits to look different.
I don't think you should have that estimate in your sig that says "12.0-12.3." My 12.26 was with a 7.76@88.3, so you might do a mid 12.3, but definitely nowhere near a 12.0.

Thanks for checking this out and giving an honest opinion! Yeah, I was very sceptical about the trap speed myself! It didn't make sense. When I ran 8.2 there before I trapped 89mph now I am in the 84mph category on a 7.8?!?!
In 1st gear I don't hit more than 21.9psi, 2nd 22.9 and 3rd gets to 24psi. I think that I am at the threshhold of my little 9.8T turbo. Thanks for the advice. I plan on making a trip to Montgomery Alabama which is home of the nearest 1/4 mile track to me. I really want to see what she will do. I agree that with all things equal that run should have ended up being a 12.3 or so. My goal on this set-up is to try and break into the high/high 11.999's.
True the 5-speed gearing is definately a little different. I think next time I am going to run 3rd to red-line to see how that changes things and then try maybe shifting to 4th early and see how much the Mph goes up.
Thanks again,
-Nate

Beyond that the Cusco rear strut bar/ Cusco front sway bar and Perrin Rear Sway bar w/ endlinks would make it one complete package.
While I am dreaming I would love a front Quaife LSD.
