Lol you came up to me at the last run, where i was gonna go all out anyway, so was little to late to ask to borrow the helmet.. If only you were there 3 runs before :P.

In my opinion you ran well, it is the matter of time before you get into the 12's. I have no doubt that your problem was the 5k rev limiter, just to make you fel better I did 10 times worse when I took the vo 9 to the track in Tucson, the car was bogging down and I did a 2.5 sec 60' reflecting a 14.2@100 pass.
I predict your car will be able to make a best of 12.6-12.8 and 108-109 at best with a better driving and 91oct gas. The only thing limiting you right now from achieving those times is strictly your 60'. I saw you launching agaisnt the SRT-4, you were definately hiting that rev limiter..

Cloudy, can you remember how much 91oct you had in your tank and how much 100 oct you add? I asking, cuz if you has 7 gal of 91 and a gal or two of 100 then your oct is only like 92 or 93 but if you has 2 gal of 91 and put in 7 gal of 100 your oct. would be a lot high (of course). Anyways, I'd like to know the estimate of the octane you were running.
About 2gallons of 91, and 5gallons of 100.
Ya iam gonna have my rev limiter either taken out, or something done to it so it helps build boost while iam just mashn the gas.

I appreciate you being honest Cloudy.
There is no doubt in my mind now that If I improved 2mph/.2sec in Tucson (3100ft) without my alcohol kit and mixing 4-5 gallons of 91 with 3 gallons of 99oct you probably reported a gain of 3mph. and 2-.3sec on your runs last night with your 91-100 mixture .
As I said before, I still see you doing 12.6-12.9 at 108-109 on 91 oct with better driving.
My .2c

Carlos,
My earlier point about Cloudy hitting 110 mph was good is because I've only seen one person go faster on the stock turbo without using an injection kit or nitrous. That was Gaijin (Reid) who I believe hit 111. My best speed was a 108. My last time out I hit 108 again and missed third TWICE and still ran a 12.9 with a 1.8 60'. I may have gone 111 perhaps if I hit third the first time, but I didn't so I can only claim 108 mph still.
I'm not so concerned about E.T.'s because they are so dependent on launches. However, I know that if you trap 110 mph, then with practice your E.T.'s will eventually get down to the low 12's.

I agree SPOOLIN. However and from experience, his gas mixture contribute to at least 2MPH improvement.
Why did Mynes Performance did not run last night?, I saw them leaving at 1035pm. They probably saw my disastrous first run..
You say Gaijin ran 111mph before? on what set up? he has a 2.4 stroker, APEX rx6 turbo etc, etc.
I am putting my headers tomorrow and I am going to Vividracing to dyno test my car. I am worry now, my car is acting very rare since my first pass. I should had never kept running my car under the condition I did, I basicly let the car slip the clutch from the moment I shifted from second to 5th gear.
My car is not 100% now. I am very concern about the spool up, I am not sure if a tuner can fix or minimize this issue. I need to find out if my clutch is actually failing because is worn out or if my clutch is failing because is making monstrous torque.
I am mostlikely going to Vividracing on Friday or Saturday so I can test my power again. The dyno will tell me for sure if my torque went up tremendously making the clutch to not keep up or if my clutch has reach its life at 11.5k miles and 80 passes. The dyno will have the ultimate answer

Gaijin ran 12.7 @ 111 mph on the old set up. 2.0 + stock turbo. He just raised the boost controller to two bar and hauled ***!
I'm sure his new set up will have him in the low 11's or 10's. It's a beast.
Bummer to hear about your car not being 100%. Keep us updated as to what you find out.

I am here to confirm that my clutch got destroyed last night on my first 13.1@101 pass which I shifted from first to second to fifth.
My clutch starts slipping just over half throtle. My clutch issue plus me missing 3rd gear in most of the runs explains my mediocre 12.4- 12.6 times.
I am doing my header and O2 housing at 0900am today but I will park my car until I order a new clutch.
I will be back at the track with new clutch, new parts install and new tunning and is going to be a lot of fun

Well that makes two of use, I blew my clutch out at firebird friday night. Raised the 5k to 6k and the clutch would not hold at all. She slips at WOT on a low RPM acceleration and can't hold a launch for sh it now. Time for a twin plate maybe...
You'll be okay with the stock clutch and 12's. I did 12.7 on the stock... I think Najib did the same time on his stock one too.
When you're ready for 11's, then you're going to be making a lot more power and you definitely will need a new clutch!
