Hmm, 116mph on pump gas without an MBC is interesting. That would mean 370-380whp at TurboTrix. Sounds a bit high for those mods. I wonder what is making the difference.

Even so, you can only run 22-23psi on pump gas. I still wouldn't expect anywhere near 370-380whp. 335-345 maybe, but that would be 113-114mph traps, not 116. You're about 30whp ahead of every other IX with your mods, which is already 30whp ahead of 05s with the same mods. This means you gained 100whp over stock with exhaust, mbc, tune. I usually expect/predict 60-70whp, so you're getting another 30-40whp from NeverNeverLand or something. What's sickening is that with your mph, you could be doing low 11.8s if you could figure out the launch.

Hmm, one more thing, your rev limiter must be pretty high, because you can't even hit 116mph at 7800rpm on that short 4th gear. You'd have to be around 8000rpm, or did you shift to 5th?

This is the time i ran and sorry if it bothers you. I know that you have been trying to get into the 11's with you evo and havent been able to do it as of yet. By the way i think that i have figured out how to launch my car since i did run these kind of times on the stock clutch also so dont get to upset. Maybe next weekend i will have it video taped so you can see it with your own eyes. By the way it was very cold outside. I dont analyze my time slips as closely as you or do i care to.

No, you haven't quite figured it out. The high 1.7s and low 1.8s are ok, but you have a ways to go. You're almost there. Anyway, I don't quite understand the telling me not to get upset stuff, but just because you don't take the time to analyze your timeslips, it doesn't mean we shouldn't. You have to realize that 116mph is unprecedented for pump gas with basic mods on a IX. People have trouble hitting that with race gas and cams on VIIIs, so the power has to be coming from somewhere. I'm eager to find out what it is. And the reference to my inability to hit 11s is not necessary, either, because I am not even talking about your ETs. Your ET was weak for the MPH, so that's not the issue. The issue is how you managed to make over 360whp with those mods on pump gas (no, it's not the cold).

That's not the same. You were using race gas. You don't need to keep saying 98oct, because most of us mix the race gas with our 93oct like you did - just say the octane of the race gas you used like in my sig (110oct, but was really a mix of 110/93). It's still race gas and makes a huge difference...usually .3s and 3mph.
