For the longest time I was saying there just wasn't that much difference but if the guy can run 11s with next to no mods there is definately something to this mivec stuff.

I'm sure the cold weather can account for some added HP. Either way a timeslip is a timeslips. VERY FLIPPING IMPRESSIVE.

Very fast times, I can't even get 12's with the same mods more or less with my 05. I have been comtemplating trading in for a EB 06 or a GG 06 MR for some time now and this makes me even more tempted, Thanks.

No one ever clarified if he stayed in 4th or switched to 5th?? I would think at 116mph he would be at a high RPM for 4th gear.

No, it does not help at all. His ratios are the same as mine through 4th within 1mph, and we are at a major disadvantage since we can't hit 116mph like this guy did without revving to 8000rpm. As you know, our power falls off DRASTICALLY after 7000rpm. By 8000rpm, which is the minimum for him to hit 116mph in 4th, he'd be down below 250whp. That's why I'm questioning the traps and was wondering if he shifted to 5th.

 

Excuse me? I asked very valid questions and raised some very valid points. I am not "whoring" anything. This is a milestone achievement and is very important, but the trap speed is nearly impossible for pump gas with those mods. I've explained why, but I have not said he's lying or that his runs aren't true, so I don't know why you are aping out about it.
