With similar entry level mods and aggressive tune, extreemly fast VIII times weren't that much slower.

I've also seen some pretty slow 9 results too. What will some 9 owners think in the near future if they waited a year for the X? It without a doubt will be a nice car.

I'm waiting ont the 10 as well but up until this post I didn't think the 9s had jack on a cammed 8. Now I may think differently. However, many people are crying BS so I hope he posts the slips or a vid or something.

Those are sick times!! Makes me want to trade in my VIII for a IX but im not going to bc the advantage the IX's have over the VIII is 90% due to the larger turbo. ID like to see someone take an 05 VIII with the same mods and slap on a IX turbo and ill bet it will hit 11's with stock cams and on pump gas!!!!!!!!!!!

nice times but i really have to know if you hit 5th gear and if not, when TT did your tune, did they bump your limiter to atleast 8000rpm? Also did you do a fuel pump? I know you said only 3 mods but I just have to ask

The results to me are about 0.15 seconds too fast for being believable. But then again combining the 06 turbo/mivec with a dangerous tune, it just may be possible.

Is the car still running properly?

Nice driving, your definately pounding through the gears well. Your car somehow does make a whole bunch of power. Is the car full weight? Does it have the stuff in the trunk still? Does it have light rims, etc, etc ?

I thought the 12.8@107 was with stock with the flash and raised boost from hose modification. If not, then with a 107mph trap on a bone stock IX, I don't want to hear another word about how detrimental the climate and tracks are in Phoenix. That's as fast as the fastest IXs at sea level with 30-40 degree temps, so there must be no downside.

Hova, can you please answer the part about your rev limiter? You can't hit that mph in a IX in 4th gear without going to 8000rpm or higher, so let us know...

iam sorry i didnt reply sooner about shifting into 5th gear but i stayed in 4th and i was shifting at about 8,000rpms. I am going to post a video this weekend of the run but i have to go back to the track and run again. My friend was there with his video cam but go figure that he left before the 11 sec. run. To clarify the mods on the car here they are. Turbotrix dyno tune, 23lbs of boost tapering off towards redline(MBC), Buschur Turboback with Helix test pipe, and K&N Drop in. Car is full weight with 1/4 tank of gas when i ran it. By the way this was on Dunlop snow tires also. As far as someone asked if the car still ran yes it still runs fine. I went to the track before and after and this was the result.
