Thanks! I wish that it would have done that last trip because I will most likely not be heading back until I have more mods installed.

But anywho in regards to expected gains from the mod:

I would say 10.5/ o2 will get you in the 11's, but 11.8 and less is a whole different arena. Sure the HS alone earned me 0.3 sec in 1/8, but it takes more sig. hp gains for ea 0.1 sec gain.
Example, X hp gain won't get a car from 12.0 to 11.8 like the same X hp gain got the car from 12.2 to 12.0.
So I would just expect like 0.2 faster (11.8 @ 118mph) with the mod since your allready in the 115's, but prooving me totally inaccurate would be nice to see too. Just make sure you get 2 - 4 replacement bolts, nickle antisieze, and a mammoth size vise-grips for the mod.

I dis-agree If you look at the timeslips section of this web site you will see that most EVOs trapping 115 are in the 11.8's or 11.9's! I think that with the addition of the 10.5 HS and the afore mentioned items it would be very feasible to get into the mid 11.5's.

Thanks for the advice!

What the high MPH's tell me is the car makes plenty of power to do so, but the respective times indicate the somewhere throughout the runs your loosing time, the 60' isn't it, so it has to be in the 1-2, 2-3, or 3-4 shifts.

Faster shifting will loose 1-2 tenths right there, HS - 2 tenths (conservative), so 11.8 with same shifting and 11.7 - 11.6 if you shift faster.

But 11.6 or less? if you do that I will personally buy you one gallon of anhydrous methanol (100% methyl alcohol)

You found my weak spot! I shift very slow from 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4. It just happens so fast and I am pretty new to the Drag racing game. The main reason is that I am scared to screw up my tranny. I love drag racing though and every trip to the track has yeilded great results in improving the driver mod.

As far as being strong the car has always been a little stronger than other '03 and '04 EVOs with the same or simuliar mods. I don't know why but it just has been that way. I agree that I will most likely be able to break into the 11.6 threshhold and that anything below that is a stretch however, I am always up for a challenge. I like trying to run great runs with as little as possible. You know that meth is extremely cheap compared to gas/ Race gas/ fuel additives/ ect...

BTW, Based on my 1/4 mile time and MPH what would you guess my AWHP to be?

Take care,

-Nate

OHH,

Yes, I space out from time to time, the 90's really took it's toll on me.
