Went to MIR today
Went to MIR today with 2step Launch Control and Devils own alcohol kit
The best time I could get today was a 12.0 @ 114. Something still seems to be wrong with my boost, no matter how much I turn up the MBC, it will not go over 25 psi. I also thought that my trap speed should have been higher. I have definetely improved on my launching though. My 12.0 was with a 1.61 60', and that was done on all season continental tires! All in all, it was a pretty good day, I got in 3 consecutive runs, and then I let my boy run it two more times after me. After those 5 runs the lines started growing. We left at around 2, when the lines had gotten long.

I have to say.....Launch control is awesome! I think without It would have just spun out all day long. I didnt even get any burnt clutch smell!

1/8 7.70

He has a Dynoflash, so the launch control is probably set at 6000 rpm. Yes, the run was on alky.

I will hit the first test'n'tune of the season in this area on March 25th at 8am. Hopefully, I will have some nice cool teams with 0 humidity and no chance of precipitation. Since I lost 40whp from sea level, I expect to lose .4-.5s from where I was, but then with the addition of cams and a full retune for altitude, I hope to make up .3s of that. So, that would leave me in the 12.0-12.2 range, but it really comes down to MPH. You predicted a 12.3-12.4 at 110-111, but I already hit 12.26 at 110 before, so if I can still trap 111mph, I'll beat the 12.3 prediction. However, like you said, people say the track prep at this track is not very good, so traction may be an issue. I may be able to overcome with some really sticky tires at low psi, but maybe not. The other good thing is this track is 1500' lower than where I live, so that will help some.

FWIW, my car is an animal right now compared to how mild my car was when I hit my 12.26 on pump gas with a mail-in flash. I would be perplexed if I couldn't beat that 12.26 unless I just can't get any good launches.
