5k is to low for me, launch control for me is 6k

 

Yea, stock rev limiter is at 5k. I just did it to see and it did build boost. Car been sittin for bout an hour. Was it b/c my car was hot when i was at the track that it didn't build boost? That night was kinda warm, hot or whatever. I'm probably gonna go to the track another night and let my car cool down before I run again.

Sorry if i post this tread in the wrong section (if I did). The drag times wasn't my reason. My question was what can I look at to double check to find out why my i'm not building boost using my rev limiter.

I wish there was a close dyno around here to test my base dyno. I can only think of going to either florida or texas. ( i'm from mississippi).

No, it doesn't matter. When bouncing off the 5k limiter, it should always build some boost (6-8psi).

 

Maybe your boost gauge is off? How do you have it hooked up? Mine built about 6psi off the stock 5k limiter.

 

It's the stock mitsu gauge kit. beats me, everything seems fine now. -=/
