I believe it was my shifting that was holding me back. That and the conditions were better, not as humid. Thanks j8, sgevotx, and warrtalon

I have some bottle rockets left over from NYE. Let's try them on the back next time we go to the track... They should be good for .3.

 

Excellent. Now, you're starting to show the real power that your car should have with those mods. 114+ shows around 350whp on a Dynojet, so you're getting there, but guess what...you have even MORE room to improve. With that 114+ mph, you can nip 11s with a badass launch. You already improved greatly over last time, so keep trying. Remember that your clutch is a complete badass and can handle any launch you give it. Just don't blow the t-case, heh.

Warr, I agree with you. A 12.0/11.9 is possible with a 1.6 launch. It's tough, man, but I'll get it or kill the t-case tryin! Just need to practice the launches along with the shifting. Or add a few pounds of bottle rockets...I'm thinkin on the spoiler, no?

 

hows that HD twin compared to the old one (none HD). as far as launching and daily driving, any chatter on take off, driving normal?

 

At first there was some chatter/rattle but now it's fine. There's no smell anymore like launching with the stock clutch. It grabs with no problem. I was screwin around when I first got it and engaged the clutch, revved up to 3/4k and accidentally dumped it. The car just shuddered when it engaged and took off. All with no smell. But, I'll never do that again. Daily driving is fine. It is stiffer but nothing to complain about. The only getting used to I had to deal with was that it engages a lot lower than stock. Stalled the first time leaving the shop. Hope that helps.
