Launch Control on a ACT extreme clutch
I recently burned out my stock using this feature. What are the possible side effects that i might cause with my new act extreme clutch - act flywheel if i use this on the launch control? I am scared of breaking something else. I think the clutch will hold but not the rest of the car..like the TC. What do you guys think?
When and if you feel you car bouncing (wheel hopping) let off the gas !!
That will kill your drive train quicker than aything eles .
So how do you like the clutch , is it stiff , any noise , hard to shift quick ???
I would like to try it out to see how it drives .
Good luck this weekend .

i just got the same clutch, its def stiffer....not bad though, there is def some noise/shutter at idle, but it holds like a ****....... shifting is different, i think you just have to get used to it. i can still shift pretty quick

btw was the 12.0 run with the 350 hp or the 367 hp ?
I've got 30,000 miles on that clutch with about 11 drag runs. The 12.0 run was with 367, but I had a boost leak, and I was breaking up in 4th gear due to bad plugs. I'm hoping to get back to the track within a few weeks!

This is the proper way to do it. If you smell clutch, you are slipping it too long. If the car falls on it's face, you need to release quicker and/or rev a little higher.
