Wow, only one run...that's busy. Excellent job for stock exhaust and only ONE TRY. I didn't even get a 1.80 on my first launch my last time at the track. I spun all 4 until I figured out how to use the launch control.
Congrats bro. Man all this MBC talk is making me want one. any idea what boost and what your AFRs look like? Also, what's your knock voltage if you know? Thanks man! Congrats again!

.500 is perfect on some tree's... and others can be different, so if your perfect light was a .000 then .520 is better than average for a first time drag racer.
12.5 @ 109 i ran the same thing in my friends evo. good run!

BaseModel, whoa, calm down pardnah...kinda freakin out all the sudden about such basic and common things that all of us already use. The MBC is very, very common and normal. In fact, it's abnormal to NOT use one.
He has a Dynoflash. Al sets AFRs in the low 11s and makes sure there is less than one volt of knock. These aren't details that your average flashee knows nor do they nomally have the devices to log such things.
EvoRecordSetter, my launch control is set at 6000rpm by Dynoflash. It was my first time using it at the drag strip, I was on Blizzaks, it was cold, and it had rained all morning. Spinning all 4 was expected.

Car I ran against was a 400 hp supra, still in its TT configuration.
It was his second time there.
His time was 12.539 @ 114
I'm trying to figure out how to get post up the time slip..
I'll get one up tomorrow.

MBCs are used when the reflash software has not yet hacked the ECM to modify OEM boost maps and OEM boost module. Our EcuTech software allows us to modify the boost pressure with the OEM boost module. No need for a MBC.
Hence Buschur and MANY others flash the fuel map then have you set the MBC constant and remove the pill (by installing new lines). On a dyno removing the pill is effective to raise the boost roof, but irratic. Unreliable. MBCs minus the OEM pill are not as reliable and too much of a tendancy for the owner to crank the boost up high, past safe levels. We can run preset boost and tune SPECIFICALLY to the desired boost setting. This keeps the OEM safety devices online. Without them you can overboost and the car can't stop you. Modifying the ECU with the OEM boost module has a couple advantages:
Still allowing high boost down low for good low end torque.
Also you retain the OEM style taper (if you're smart) for more HP up top. According to EcuTech we'll soon have a dual stage option to run two maps by toggling an OEM accessory. ***HUGE GRIN**** I'll keep y'all updated.
