First time ever.
You keep saying all this "we" stuff as if it's new. People have been doing this with EcuTek for 2-3 years or so on the Evo. There isn't as much boost control as you think. You still have to use boost hose modifications to raise the boost to where you want it, and I don't see why you'd want to retain the OEM style taper or why that is "smart." The main point of boost control is to REMOVE taper. That's how you get more HP up top, by REMOVING that taper significantly, not by retaining it.
The MBC comments are funny...you must be new to the DSM/4G63/Evo scene. We've been using MBCs for 16 years maybe? You make them sound like they're taboo, but they're far FAR more common than ECU-controlled boost solutions. The flash-controlled boost isn't as good as you make it sound, and MBCs aren't nearly as bad as you make them sound. Since when is an MBC not reliable and when has there been too much of a tendency for owners to crank the boost too high? That's their decision...they put it where they want it when they want it...not where you or their tuner decides to set it.
