New times with the IX
It was about 80 degrees and i had a FULL and i do mean FULL tank of gas first run was a 15 sumthin cause i blew the uicp off the throttle body. then after i fixed my problem i made a BS run to see what my mbc was set on. at only 20 psi this was my slip. BTW my mods are helix tbe..hks rs....forge mbc.....perrin uicp...dynoflash custom tune....ACT Heavy Duty street disc...and ACT flywheel.
Reac- .2975
60 ft- 1.67
330 ft- 4.85
1/8 mile- 7.71
MPH- 88.51
I never got a run in at 22 psi and i was still spinning off the line with a extra 70-80 lbs of fuel in the tank. Next i will be at freaky fri and street wars at the rock.

You have a custom tune now or just a base flash from when your clutch went bad? Isn't it still a base flash?
Either way, that's fast as hell. Awesome 60' for being so new to the track, too. A 7.71@88.5 would be a 12.0 or 12.1 depending on how much you pick up on the top end. If you make more power with 22psi, you may hit 11s. Was this on pump gas?

yeah yeah.... i guess it was a base flash he said he gave me the same program he used on another guys IX with the exact same set-up... yup it was at only 20 psi with a full tank of 93 octane... that track is sticky as hell too...yeah my car feels like its got alot more top-end i think i could easily hit 11's with 22psi and some race gas. I woulda put the slip on here but i cant figure out how.... the best part about the run was beating a Sti with a Fp-green and front mount haha.. he was like im mkaing around 400whp... I was like o im pretty much stock hahaha.. He ran like a 8.28 or sumthin
Yeah, if you drive like that and don't have a catastrophic issue in 4th gear, you'll do an easy 11 with some race gas and a few more psi. For reference, here is my 1/8th on the 12.000:
7.64 @ 90.5
But you'll gain on that with some more boost, and then your top-end will likely be stronger.

that seems mighty strong for only 20psi, and with all of that added weight. I cant hit a 7.7 1/8 mile unless I run about 24-25psi on 100 octane and a 1.7 60ft.
I ran a 7.65 in the 1/8th at 91mph on 100 octane and 27 psi, with a 1.72 60ft.

He's probably seeing 20psi in 4th after the initial taper point. I doubt his boost is set at 20psi peak in 4th at 3500rpm...this is probably 20psi at 5500rpm after shifting from 3rd at 7k. The 1.6 60' also makes him need less power to nail a great 1/8th.

Mine tapers more the lower I have my boost set. For instance if it is set at 22psi it will taper to 19 by redline, but if I have my boost set at 27psi it will taper to 26psi by redline. Thats a 3psi drop compared to a 1psi drop. I recoord my defi BF gauges every run I do and play them back to write down the data, and compare to previous runs.

Eh, I don't think so. There's no way you hold anywhere near 26psi by 7k in any gear, sorry. The Defi may say 26, but if you used a MAP sensor, you'd see it's way way less than that...probably closer to 20.

no.. Honestly i have done different things to get good times... i only run 20psi in my tires and i can flat out drive my car. My first was was just a pass to see what boost i was running. when i found that it was only running 20psi WITH NO TAPERING i said hell with it i need to go ahead and get a pass in. I previously ran a 7.87 on only 18 psi.
sorry man, your boost gauge must be way off, There is no way you ran that time on 20 psi, And definitly not that time on 18psi, thats 2 pounds below stock. And your boost will always taper a little.
