*Udated time* Daily Driven BR GT35R 1/4 mile time

My mph was down but the 60' were better. Thanks Dave for emailing the 2-step. I used it for the first time at the track. It's nice just to smash the pedal and have a little boost built up for the launch. Took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it.

Anyways, the runs were on 93/alky injection. Max boost was at 24.5 psi. 17x9 Sa-70 Wedsport wheels, advan Neova's 255/40/17. Full tank of gas or just a 1/4 of it used actually. My last 1/4 times were on winter tires and stock rims without the 2-step.

60' 1.684
330' 4.901
1/8 7.550
mph 91.13
1000' 9.824
1/4 11.714
mph 119.31

Next time I go out, it will be on C16 and boost set at 28 psi. I'm really curious to see what I can get on C16.

I would expect a bit more but I'm sure its tuned conservatively since it's daily driven. Good driving

Any reason why you can attribute a 4mph loss in trap speeds? Awesome times for a DD setup, do you run around town withe the meth or just 93?

In 1st gear??? That's a strange question. Who can afford to look at their boost gauge AND tachometer in 1st gear with a 400+whp GT35r!?! Haha...

garunteed your not getting full boost till at least 2nd gear, maybe not even till 3rd.

i want to drive a gt35 on the street just seems like it would be to laggy for me.

I have a GT35 on mine. I daily drive mine.

I hit full boost in first. It is very laggy but you will hit full boost in 1st (Maybe not 40+psi but anything under 30psi for sure).

It is strange about the trapspeed difference though. My car at near that boost level trapped at your earlier best of 123. A 4 mph difference is pretty big. Perhaps the shifts were not up to par?

Get some practice and I'm sure you will run some better times. Looks like your shifting is slowing you down a bit, but nonetheless good job.

It might be a good argument for the unsprung weight discussions. If the only new change is temperature and probably 15lbs+ in new rims and tires. I would think a higher trap too, but it's all good!! Anytime you take a EVO to the track and don't break a drivetrain part it's a good day IMO.

I'll call around Monday or Tuesday to see who has any. So hopefully on Thursday the weather will cooperate and I can get to the track.

There was a discussion about winter tires giving you a better mph somewhere here in the Drag Racing section. Maybe that's the reason? Out of eight runs I never broke 120 mph.

Yes the alky is always spraying for daily driving duties. Dave set it up to where my SES light comes on when it sprays. You can usually see it when you glance down at the tach. Nice little feature .

What would you expect on pump/alky @ 24psi?

My shifting isn't the best. I need to bang through gears like Dragnracing.
