Yea but you have like 170more whp than I do. Not to mention warrtalon is running aroudn the same times I am(with around the same mods) and he is in colorado so I dont think sea level has nothing to do with it.

No you have close to 500whp right? At least thats what it says in your sig. Well I have around 330whp. Which is around a 170whp difference correct?

On C16 I've got 493, which is what the 11.9 was on. But the 7.73 at the 1/8th was on pump.

Ok so basically you see my point then? A 170whp difference you should be mashing on my times. Hell if I had a setup of that caliber I would be hitting the 1.5 or 1.6 60's and a low 7sec 1/8mile with a low 11sec 1/4.

Yep. The tires are worse than stock, so I think that might be playing a role, but mostly I'm sure it's the driving. I wanna get the video up so I can get a critique from you guys.

Rev limiter is set at 7500. I shift a little before that, sometimes as early as 7k.

Do you powershift? Also try shifting at 7400. And never let your foot off the gas.

Are you kidding me? People have been powershifting their stock evos for eons now. Warr and I have been doing it and had no problems. Warr got an upgraded clutch but thats not due to the powershifting its due to him racing alot which would be due to normal racing wear and tear not powershifting.

The only thing you are lacking is the front diff. I am sure if you had that you would be getting better 60s.

Heh, alright. Sorry, I'm comming from a WRX...so this whole tranny abuse thing is strange and frightening.

I think once I get some stock springs on there(the guy before put s-techs on it and they suck), and a sticky-ish tire I'll be alright.

I'm hearing people say that street tires are the worst on the drivetrain, and I'm hearing people saying DRs are the worst. I would think that DRs would be harsher, but the fact that they wheel hop less gives some credit to the street tires being worse theory. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Street tires? Well the stock ones are prolly one of the best tires I have ever used. Whethor it be for circuit or drag. Also wheel hop isnt good I would try and not do that. My best experiences from what I knwo and from others have been on the stock tires.

Yea I figured. I'm going to do some chassis and mount stiffening to try and remedy that. But the tires that are on here are aweful. Sumitomo somethings. They're not good at all.
