So how many 1/4 runs is the stock clutch worth?

2. remove clutch restrictor widget
3. always use stutterbox launch (1.6X 60' is capable on the stock 5000rpm limiter so there is no excuse not to use it)
4. drive in socks or barefooted until you get used to the proper clutch engagement point. After that feel free to buy some Puma Speedcats or comparable soft-soled driving shoe so you can still feel the engagement point and reduce your habit of burning the clutch in normal daily driving.

I had about 5-6 trips to the strip on mine. I launched really hard though.

I suck at drag racing... not really my thing, I like to turn and stop and stuff. I'm surprised to see so many people have gotten so many runs.

Whne I did my 85 passes on stock clutch I was convinced I was going to surpass well over 100 but I made a mistake that cost me my clutch in one launch.
I launched my car and when I was shifting from 2nd to third I accidentally shifted to fifth and ran more than half of the track like that. That was the worst thing I did to my clutch. My clutch was slipping the entire wayat the highest tq range possible on the engine.
Another thing you might want to avoid is to run lap after lap(hotlaps). Those two are my tips in addition to what TTP said.

I have just about 100 passes now with my stock clutch and pulled my best 60' 3 weeks ago with a 1.654 and on that same day pulled 4 other 1.6s...and consistently pull 1.7s and from what I can tell its still going strong, will see how it holds up to nitrous in near future...
