According to Clayton, he is not paid. He is not a "pro". Good driver, sure. Employed as a driver, no.

On top of that he is not required to go to the track as part of his sponsorship. Its a good thing since he runs slower with each mod.
Correcting someones english isnt the discussion here. And yes he is paid for what he does. I can gaurantee you that if it wasn't for his good driving abilities he wouldnt have the sponsors he has or at least his driving I am sure was a huge aid in the deal.

Like I said it may not be the form of payment you are thinking but parts and service are money to me. And that is just as good as getting a monthly check IMHO.

He gets some free parts for his postwhoring and pushing his sponsors products on others, not for driving. None of this is relevant to the topic so I am done.

I am imagining a 16 year old behind the keyboard, playing "let's have the last word". Do the thread a favor and stop posting.

My driving was definitely a reason - that's how it all got started. Scott just is a nasty man who likes to bash people while ignoring the facts (and conveniently not mentioning them). I will likely never have my car as ridiculously modded as his, but I did go much faster with less mods back when we first got started. I am now at 6000' and still run faster than any of the other Evos up here and just about every other car. I don't go slower with more mods - I went slower with more ALTITUDE.

First off, I dont always have the last word warrtalon can attest to this.

Second, I am not 16.

Thirdly, you are sticking up for someone who was waaay off topic.

Fourthly, he was wrong to begin with. Warrr is not a postwhore because postwhores mostly post menaingless things, and warr certainly only post meaningful things.

Fifth, warrtalon has done so much for the evo community its rediculous.

SIXTH, TTP only takes money from the evo community for meaningless mods to go slower.

Seventh, stick around and learn some things before you start giving advice. This will lengthen your stay here drastically.

It would seem you both have alky injection, cams, reflash, TBE, Intake, manifold as I read on evotuners.

Sounds like they are pretty evenly matched outside of the altitude in CO and hot, humid climate in the SE.

From what I read it is a completely stock motor other than cams and gears.

What is so ridiculous about it besides your claim that the car is "ridiculously modded" when your mods are the same? lol

Because the only thing the ttp car isnt modded is the block and the turbo. Everythign else has been modified even his factory ecu has been flashed. The head has got cams. The IC prolly has a pipe kit. So there ya go.

And warr with less mods is running 12flat.

What are you even rambling about? I think it is evident who the postwhore is now. As far as my reading here at evom takes me, TTP appears to be the closest to Curt Brown and on stock motor while your buddy Warr has not breached out of the 12's. Now it is unfortunate that he has an altitude handicap, but it is fortunate for him that he has the help of other vendors to help him modify his Evo. I think he should bring the car to sea level and run it as best he can so he does not need the "crutch" of altitude as an excuse any longer.

Just calling it as I see it.

What?

Please list the full mods of the TTP car.

Then list the full mods list of the warr car.

If you cannot, you should not be further taxing your waning credibility.

Terms such as "prolly" gives the indication that you have no idea what you are talking about.

You also cite that TTP runs a flashed ECU? As if Warr does not have a flashed ECU? What are you insinuating? He is sponsored by Dynoflash, genious. "The head has cams"- Warr also has cams and alky injection. I thought based on your defense of him, you would already know these things and not make yourself look more ill-informed than when you first started posting.

The reason for the low traps were the getting locked out of 4th. And the engine was heat socked like a mother f*cker.
I will head back and try again soon, so thaxs for the input and keep it coming.
do the IX's have the restrictor pill in the clutch slave cylinder like the VIII's? if so, did you remove it when changing your clutch line? i know taking that damn little thing out made it 10x's easier to get your slip right on a launch. in evomoto.coms tech section they have a write up for the clutch line with pill removal instructions/pics also.

What are you talking about. That post wasnt evne directed towards you and you mention it? What is wrong with you and being off topic?

Second of all, no one is saying its a handicap. We are also calling it as we see it too. Period.

No one is ill informed other than you. I mentioned the ecu to clarify that it wasnt just the factory(stock) ecu. It too has been modified.
