11.68 on stock turbo, mail in flash!
Well I wish I had more time to fiddle around with stuff that night but the lines were rediculous. I wanted to adjust my tire pressure alittle more too, but it just didnt happen.
The only reason I havent tried shifting lower is how hard the car pulls up top. I know I need to get it dyno'd for real results but it doesn't feel like its loosing anything at 7500.

Just for reference Clay is still on his original motor doing drag racing, auto cross and road racing and its his daily driver
He moved to a 6,000 plus ft elevation so of course his 1/4 miles times are not as fast

The parts were great as shown by my off-season dyno at sea level (drag strips were closed) with gains of 47whp/82wtq before cams, but even with cams at 6000', I hardly make any power - the stock turbo simply cannot flow enough air. My 12.30 is still far better than most cars and unsurpassed by any stock turbo'd Evo up here without nitrous.
N1, hopefully you'll get more time at a future TNT to play with tire pressures and shift points. I know it feels like it pulls hard to 7500rpm, but I have yet to see a single stock turbo'd Evo have power at 7500 that wasn't significantly declining from a peak in the 6500rpm range, especially when running high boost. You likely could gain some, but honestly, who really knows? You're trapping 119mph at over 2000' on basic mods without custom tuning - that already makes no sense whatsoever, so I really don't know, hah.

cool, thanks. I have an idea of more or less where to start at.

I think if maybe you didn't shift so high, you'd hit an 11.5. Your 119 trap is good for 11.5 with that 60', but some time is being lost somewhere in the middle unlike when you used to run low 12s - have you tried shifting lower?
Heres a copy of the slip.
I also asked on a local racing forum If anyone knew how accurate the timers where and it seems there accurate. I guy who runs a local shop said he runs the same times here as he does in Las Vegas and Pomona.
