Whatever you do, dont race 1000cc bikes when you're stock. He blew past me like I was standing still. Time for some mods.

You need an AMS setup with big turbo done right cause my stock 05 zx6r trapped 130 on 93 oct. in the quarter. 65ish in 1st. 103 in second. So you get the picture. Dont race bikes, especially new ones.

Just to give you an idea on most new 600's, they will get to 100 mph which is usually the top of second gear in 6-7 seconds and thats being conservative. the only reason its not too much faster is because of the inability to go full throttle until about 30-40 mph and mine hangs the front wheel for the first two gears.

Wow. That was by far the most obvious statement I've ever read...
Not to sound like a douche or anything...
But yeah... Bikes have about 2500+ lbs on us people with cars...

Properly ridden, the new ones will do high 9s/low 10s @ 145mph+ in the 1/4

...so unless you at least have a 35r on racegas, save yourself the embarrasement!

A bike is the cheap way out. With what your evo is worth, go trade it in for a matching price bike and go race those 1000cc bikes. I myself race bikes every once in awhile. But most of them are the OLDER models with fat guys on them. I have won a couple on the streets. Hell i even beat a 2002 R1 with my 2003 350Z from a deadstop in front of alot of people!! The reason is becuase he dropped his clutch, popped a wheelie so fast that his windsheild hit his helmet and knocked him off the bike!!
