12.5@110

Went to the track last night (first time modded) and here's my timeslip...

R/T - 1.009
60' - 1.78
330' - 5.193
1/8 - 8.071
MPH - 85.51
1000' - 10.522
1/4 - 12.568
MPH - 110.87

Shifting @7800 into 2nd and ~7600 for 3rd and 4th.

I didn't launch as hard as I should've (slipped it a little longer) because it was the first time launching with the 2-step (didn't want to break ****). I only got one run in last night, and I'm sure with a few more runs I would've beat my time. Sucks I won't get a chance for several years since I'm shipping my car to Hawaii next week.

Anyone got any tips on improving?

Shift alittle lower with your mods. I dont know about the IX's but in the VIII's without cams shifting above 7100-7200 rpm's gives you worse times. That is a pretty decent run with your mods but yeah, with alittle more practice and a better launch you could have low 12's.

Yeah, 7600-7800 is wayyyyyyyyyy too high...almost 1000 rpm after power falls. Good run for just one try. Thats a low 12s car...

Nice time. Shift more in the powerband as they were saying and you'll really make me jealous

Hey man what's up? Me and my boys (the turbo 350Z and an NA 350Z) left after that.

I think another think that hurt my time (by like 2/10ths) was the fact that I palsy-shifted into second (vid will be up soon) since I get locked out of it everytime I launch.

What Island are you shipping it too? I'm assuming O'ahu, Maui and the Island of Hawaii have tracks on them and soon they'll have a ferry that you could bring your car over if you are moving to O'ahu. I live on Maui so, if you're moving here pm me I'll help get you situated.
