Yah man, it wasnt a good idea putting it on afterwards...throw the stocker back on and if you need a K&N drop in, I have a 3 week old one. If you had a better 60 your times would be alot better but the trap shows something is up...ie: intake

60'...2.133
330...6.030
1/8...9.291@ 75.50
1000...12.089
1/4...14.470@94.88 mph.
Take a look at the back 1/8. You gained almost 25 mph and that's really good. This tells me something bad is happening during the first 1/8 of the race.
My guess is that you're bogging bad at the launch. This would account for your bad 60'. If you bog out, then it's going to take you a while to build psi again and get going.
My suggestion would be to take it very easy on the launch. Just do a normal take off, but perhaps a tad quicker if possible. It should improve your 60' a bit, but more importantly you won't bog and loose all your built up boost.
Keep us posted!

Yes you definitely need to learn how to slip the clutch when launching. And quick shifting will help too. Your trap speeds are horrible as well. Hell when my saturn sc2 was nearly stock it ran a 15.2. Something is either wrong with your car or you must be a very bad driver. Please let us know what you are doing so mayeb we can possibly help.

It is probably a combination of horrible launching and slow shifting.

Just get a K&N drop-in, and you should be good to go. But a TBE would really help you out.

Nice car,
I was there last night with the Red Evo. I think it's mostly due to your launch. I was not pulling any timing at all. Still my stock clutch was not happy at all. 12.9@110 on pump gas and full weight.
I have a TBE with HF cat, intake, MBC and fuel pump.

yea maybe next time ill put in some c10 and see how it goes, or perhaps just get reflashed for the intake
i did however notice during one run that my water temp actually dropped which kind of puzzled me, its the stock sensor so maybe running it to redline a bunch of times messed it up or something.
and yes, i should have just tried to take an easy launch to see if my traps improved instead of trying to launch good.. o well, ill go back up sometime soon to see if I improve. thanks for the replies

I wonder what flash could improve on the intake.. I wouldn't worry about it for now and leave it as is until you put in an exhaust. Having the stock water sensor shouldn't matter at all. It is weird to see the water temp drop, depending on how much I might wonder if there is air in your system.

I am not liking most of these answers. There is a MAJOR, MAJOR problem with this car, and it has NOTHING to do with the driving. Yes, the 60' sucks, yes the shifting MAY be slow, but none of that would cause a 94mph trap speed.
Hmm, wait, I was just about to help until I saw you say twice that you knew installing the $400 intake _AFTER_ your tune was bad, that you felt it lose power _AFTER_ installing the intake, and that you are now going to KEEP the intake on. No help is deserved here, but I'll give you one hint (the intake isn't half the problem).
