Best drag radials and size for stock wheels
I'm looking to get that last 1/10th out of my 60ft time. I'm doing consistent 1.6 60s with 255 x 40 x 17 Falken Azeni RT615s. Which drag radials won't break the bank and what size should I get to go with stock wheels 17 x 8 wheels?
If I'm getting 1.65s now, would it be safe to assume the drag radials will get me into the 1.5s?

How much of a difference do drag radials even make compared to regular street tires?

Has anyone tried the Mickey thompson drag radials? We have used them on several cars and they have been a great improvement over street tires and even over the Nitto DR's.
Heres what they have size wise for the 17" rims

yes they will fit under an EVO, but you have to have bigger than stock wheels (which is what this thread is about) and have the fenders rolled. Dont rule out all AutoX tires. John Shepherd ran well into the 9's on 225-50-16 Toyo RA1's before he switched to slicks.
