I have falken tires on my car.. I'd get alot of wheelspin on a poorly prepped track, And I'd get my front right wheel spinning (03 with no front LSD) in second with similar basic mods I had made early on.

Your times are right along the lines of what to expect with those mods.. I'm not sure about the rev limiter in 4th, but you do say its an MR (6 speed correct?)

I used to hit the rev limiter at 7650 RPM in 4th as my traps started getting faster and I was running a few mph higher..

From the mods posted I would say the IX is capable of exceeding traction threshold upon 2nd gear acceleration, I would moreover say the car can be capable of much faster times.

Even my stock turboed 04 SSL (SSL=slow) will break loose from a 1st gear roll and is not very far, wtqwise, from having that happen in 2nd. Many things aside from WTQ and H2O lessen traction, tire pressure.

When you get the other turbo you might solve your tire spin but in any case, if your track uses alot of water for muscle brained RW burnouts, use them yourself but make sure all tires are wet!

Hey Jack, got any old track times you can find?

yea moroso is supposivly a very badly preped track, half the time i hear they dont even spray water down or w/e for the people who burn out..

yea i have n mr, and it seemed as thou i was CLOSE to the rev limiter, althou i was not hitting it..

So it wasnt just my craziness telling me im spinning in second, it is actually possible.

thanks for the help!

Much better but more room for improvement. I ran a 7.7 1/8mile with a trap of 90mph with a tbe, o2 housing, drop in and flash. Keep preacticing your luanch and shifts.

Definitely room for some improvement. Went today and I have only a cat-back with test pipe, reflash, and drop in filter...ran a 12.63@107. Work on that shifting cause I had a similar 60 ft of 1.8.
