Well as some of you know from my thread about my first ever run i ran a 13.3 with the mods im about to list below..

Very Minimal performance mods.. tonight (SECOND RUN EVER IN MY LIFE) i ran a 12.8 at 107.75 =) Very happy as this is like i said only my second run ever.. tonight there was about 150+ test n tuners and lots of peoples cars kept breaking so it was taking forever to clean up the track so I only got one run in.. but i enjoyed it..

I KNOW PEOPLE I STILL NEED TO WORK ON LAUNCHING BUT!.. I am improving and i didnt get the right launch that i wanted.

This was at Moroso In Florida
Im still at Stock boost!
Its n MR and I pretty much MAXED out my 4th gear at the finish of the race (At about 7700 RPM)

O and btw my tires were spinning bad in 1st, and even in 2nd..

Also i had a ****ing screw in my tire i found out =(.. So now i need new tires!

No way you were at 7700 in 4th, because that would be a 114-115mph trap speed or so. 107-108mph traps wouldn't hit the stock rev limiter unless you were continuing to floor it well after the traps. Surprised you spun in 2nd - I have never done that at any level of power, and I haven't spun all through 1st when only trapping 108. Strange.

Driving improved, though, so that's good. What's our deal? I haven't heard any progress from your end...

You ran a 12.83. I always spin the crap out of first and I just bought hankook k104's and they still spin before I rocket off....

but yea i had a faily good run tonight considering its only my second run ever haha

sure it wasnt your clutch instead of your tires spinning? that could be a possiblity. its weird that you were spinning in second gear with just the mods you have. But none the less better times from the first time you were out. Work on that launch and youll see even better times!!!

 

Keep practicing you will get it....definitely not spinning second gear, near impossible with your mods on any prepped track...

 

yea i think it was whats considered clutch spin

 

i had the second best evo time out of about 7 evos that went last night

all ranging from nicely modded evo 8's, to a fast *** evo 9 RS with a good driver.. he ran a 12.6.. only evo to beat my time

 

since when was 12.6 fast ***? lol

people run 12.5's with TBE and a tune.

 

Track prep at Moroso sucks. Thats why you were spining you tires in second gear.
