Congrats. I have heard some blocks are of poorer cast finish quality than others from the factory. This requires some cleaning up before assembly and they recieve slightly larger pistons. Anyone else think there is some truth to this? Sorry for veering a little ot but the thought is relevant

Im so mad I didnt have someone with a video camera taping today. I pretty much knew Id hit 117 today but I just didnt think of taping it. Everyone around here was saying last night they think I could run 118 and I shrugged them off. I am damn impressed with the car to say the least. Its incredibly fun to drive, spool is instaneous. At this point, I dont even want an upgraded turbo unless it was a 2.3+GT35R. I think my car with methanol injection will be wild.

I just wish we could figure out what magic was giving you so much power. Yeah, you have a good combo of mods with great tuning, but it's just hard to explain that much power on pump gas. It's amazing.

I remember people were cutting on your for going 27 or 28mph in the back half, and Im thinking to myself, whats the big deal? I did it too. In fact I went 29mph (28.6) on one run!
My shifting is very fast. I am lifting to shift though. If I launched any harder it would just spin. Again as I mentioned, I was running 34psi/32psi front rear, which is a lot. Mike1023 I just read was running 15psi in his for his 11.2 run. I think with some better traction, I can hit 11.60s.
