i tried shifting at different rpms on each pass to see what difference it would make....everytime i made a pass i shifted at a different point between 7000 and 7800...does this clear it up a bit? sorry for the unclear post..
Ok.
Do the 1-2 just below 7k, then do the rest at 7000-7100. Your IX 5spd has a short 4th gear, so you'll really be winding it out at the end of the track, which is a slight disadvantage vs VIII 5spds.
