went to check out the BOTI action... my Evo 8 wasn't quite ready to race but I wish I raced my Evo 9, it would have done well in the street class. The local Virtual Works Supra ran an amazing 8.25 at 170's that was without the 200 shot, had an issue with the car on the top end and couldn't make the finals. Paul had some launching issues and 2nd gear issues from having him make any good passes, I believe his best was 10.5 at 145? He mentioned tune was off due to elevation and humidity. And my friend Jake Montgomery with his Eagle Talon pulled off an amazing 9.11 to pull off the win in Pro Import

We just had one problem after the other. Our tranny had been beat on all season and decided to lock me out of 2nd and 3rd gear. Our tune was allot different from Oregon to Vegas. The turbo was not liking the heat I would take off in 1st fine than as soon as i go for 2nd it was like a wall tryen to get into gear. I had to back off the gas than slide it in which by than the turbo is out of boost. For some reason in 4th gear we took a bunch of fuel out but it still would read 10.8 afr. Might have been from the heat.
O well at least we had a good time in Vegas at the Strip

 

Finally! We made it out to a test and tune today to make a few passes. We ran two more 8 second runs. Beat our personal best in the process.

Thanks SMP3000. Seems that since the car has been re-wired everything has gone smooth as silk. Looking forward to some cooler weather and the shootout in a few weeks.

hey guys, took the car out tonight and ran a 9.69@143.47.. car was breaking up and i forgot to bring plugs to the track.. I think the car has a 9.4 in it.. i am still running a t3, no NOS, no meth.. ill post the slip up tomorrow..
