Id like to know about the nitrous as well. Just an intercooler sprayer or actual injection? At 21psi its going to be impossible to get anywhere near 121mph. I trapped 120 with my setup at 26psi and a simple tune and thats even hard to believe. Where did you run at and do you have the slips? Or at least your other numbers?

at 3300' ive trapped 110.7mph using 91oct and 22psi with no cams.
this was with a g-tech pro,at sea level with race gas the most i saw was 113.4mph boosting to 24psi!
maybe with cams and an 02housing i will peak up 1-2mph more in the 1/4mile
i dont see how you got 121mph????
please tell us more!

he must have decals all over the car... 10whp each lol

and a 11.7 @ 121 is like a 2.0 60'

i ran a 11.8 @ 115 with a 1.69... if i lowered the tire pressure i wouldn't have spun as much and would have ran an 11.7

I ran an 11.7 @122 with my evo but thats because I sprayed a 50 shot in 3-4 giving it a higher trap speed but not very low et...

Exactly, which is why its hard to believe his times when he says he only has an intercooler sprayer.

What was a long time ago? I didn't say anything about the past - that was someone else.

As for not letting things go. Yes, you're right. I do not sit here and let people post outrageous claims that everyone knows are impossible, especially when the person doesn't even show a timeslip. What you don't realize is your time are not important - I am not trying to deny your time. I am saying there is no way in HELL that you trapped 121mph, and ESPECIALLY not with only 21psi. Hell, the most you'd trap on those mods with 21psi would be 113-114. So, that means you had to be spraying at least a 50 shot, and NO, I don't mean the intercooler sprayer, which does next to nothing.

So, how big was your shot, and in what gear did you activate it?

i've got a buddy here however with a 50 trim who ran an 11.75 at 121... there are many things that can add to it, but with his setup, i dont see him trapping 121... unless he is going down hill

Well yeah, big difference in a 50-trim and a stock turbo @ 21psi.

Maybe, but you'll be at 28psi or so and have a IX - again, way different than an 05 turbo @ 21psi.

Nvr2old32, I'm curious why you said his driving was amazing compared to yours when you ran the same ET but with 3 less mph. That means your driving was far superior. Driving didn't get him 121mph traps...that's strictly raw power. I do not believe he ran 121mph traps with those mods, though, sorry.
I meant with the mods he has, I was no where near his time. I just worded it wrong. I do agree the 121 is raw power to trap that high and I can't figure out where he's getting it from..

hey john, how are you ? My 1/4 time is before the dyno, before the ported coated mani, stainless O2 and ported hotside, and before the MIVEC monster you gave me ..... it is also on racegas at 25 psi or so.... my dyno is pump gas on 21 psi. with my mods in my sig. i am installing an ebc tomorrow though so that should help things out some.

warr, i wont be running 28 psi, im still on stock internals and no ARP studs.... i trapped at nearly 118 with the mods in my sig minus what i just stated above. I could only imagine with a custom tune, the mods i added and a good pass i should be able to trap 2 or 3 mph higher. I have an EBC im installing tomorrow as well as a forge wastegate actuator on the way. Either way, 28 psi will not be happening

Good, thanks.

How much weight reduction if any? I am glad that the new tune feels like a monster. I got confused and thought this was post tune, but either way impressive. I cant wait for spring and the new season.

Well, 25psi, whatever. It's race gas level boost that we're talking about. Don't need built internals for 28psi anyway, but that's what most people try to run if they bother with race gas or alky. I personally run 26psi.
